We began with an intuitive understanding of what real homes wanted.

The name Cox & Cox came from our founder Fiona Cox, a central figure in British interior design who starred in the BBC’s hugely successful makeover series, Home Front. From her spare room, Fiona began to sell the homeware her eager viewers would phone in to buy; pieces they wanted for their own homes but couldn’t find. As the business grew and new owners took the reins, letters would regularly arrive expressing excitement over the catalogue, from customers explaining how they’d retreat a while to take it all in on the day it arrived.

We are about the careful curation of useful yet unique high-quality product.

Based in Frome, Somerset, we continue with the same ethos from where we began, and over 20 years later, our customers still share their excitement when the catalogue lands in their homes. Small decorative accessories have since turned into furniture - and much more. We continue to travel far and wide and see hundreds of products, yet we only select a few so that every collection comes together with the same high standard of quality, function and style it always has.
